Clay pigeon shooting is a game of shooting flying targets, known as clay pigeons or clay targets, with a firearm or shotgun. Targets are either thrown along the ground or in the air, either way you have to shoot them.
Don't worry no live animals are used in the game, that is unless you want to use the stag!
There are many different clay targets that you can use on this stag activity. To give you an idea , here is a list of some of the more common clay targets
1) Standard - This is the most common of targets and usually weighs only 105 grammes.
2) Mini - This is a very small target that is really meant for the experts
3) Rabbit - Runs along the ground, try and catch it if you can!

1) Bird- This is a target that flies in the air
2) Rabbit - A target that rolls and bounces on the ground
3) Squirrel - A target that rolls on the ground, this is not the same as a rabbit!
4) Single - One target thrown with 2 shots taken
5) Pair - Two targets with 2 shots
